X53 bus from the King’s Statue on the water front to Swyre Bull stop. Timetable (pdf)
From Victoria Bus Station to Weymouth, Dorchester or Bridport. Change at Bournemouth.
Bus from Weymouth on the X53 Jurassic Coaster: You need the Bull Swyre bus stop between Abbotsbury and Burton Bradstock on the timetable, so plan time if you need to ask for a pick up. Watch out for the stop – or ask the driver – by looking out for a climb up a big hill from Abbotsbury. Once on top of the hill you are about two miles from the stop. There will be big coastal views ahead of you, and lots of barrow mounds! Look out for a little house up on top of a hill to your right, then as you drop down the hill into Swyre village there is a big pub with a red bull on the roof, which is where you get off.
The entrance to the site will be well signposted. As you drive from Swyre towards West Bexington you will approach the built up area of the village on your left. Look out for a ‘WWR’ sign post on your left before the first house in the main part of the village, called Two Wings. Turn into the track before the house and follow it up to the parking area, which is close to the camping space. Park here and a member of the team will be there to welcome you.
